Most cables and products have a limited LIFETIME WARRANTY. Limited by improper use or abuse by the client. You cannot expect a cable to turn a corner at a 90 degree angle without breaking some of the tiny wires inside. Incidents like these are not covered by warrranty but the construction of the cable itself is. It should work for a lifetime.
